Should I give calcium and multivitamin syrup to my pregnant cat ?
As you see I'm a top contribute in cats . so please answer the question only if you know something about it . I want to know how much calcium and multivitamin can I feed my expecting girl daily ?
There are some pet vitamins that are specially formulated for cats, that would be in a pretty good balance, I'm sure they sell some at your vet's or at a pet store near you. Stick with stuff that is specially labelled for cats, and follow the directions on the label. If you are talking about using some formulation designed for humans, well, you said it yourself - you are a top contributor in this category, so you should very well know the answer: DO NOT give cats human meds (vitamin and mineral supplements count as meds) without consulting with a QUALIFIED veterinarian - to get clear instructions about the correct dosages.
